Ace Indian archer Deepika Kumari who won silver in the just concluded World Cup Championships felt that she could have won the gold had she not misjudged while shooting the last arrow.
"It was my fault. I had to make a judgement in respect to all aspects of the competition including weather condition and wind speed. But I made a misjudgement before shooting the last arrow against the Korean rival (Bo Bae Ki) and lost by two points," Deepika was quoted by the Times of India.
"It was raining since morning and it was hard to shoot in rain," she added.
Meanwhile DNA writes that life has not been the same for her stint in the Olympics.
“I was so disappointed by my performance. I didn’t know what happened to me. I felt the earth move under my feet,” the report quoted her as saying.
“All I wanted to do was get back to training. I had to prove to myself what I’m capable of. I had to recover from my loss at the Games. That recovery was very important for me.”
