T20 World Cup: India to take on Pakistan in second warm-up match

India will take on Pakistan in the second warm-up game ahead of the ICC World Twenty20, India in the first warm-up match defeated hosts Sri Lanka comfortably, says a report in The Hindustan Times.

The match will provide an opportunity to test each other before their much-anticipated Super 8s clash says  the report.

India-Pakistan T20 matches have always been very good to watch and the two encounter in the 2007 World Cup lit up the tournament.

 

Meanwhile, the India-Pakistan warm-up match will be telecasted live, says a report in The Times of India.

In the match, Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan will be looking to bowl the way he did in the previous warm-up game against Sri Lanka where he picked five wickets, says TOI.

Pakistan will be worried about the form of Indian vice-captain Virat Kohli who is in prime form.

Indian team will be worried about the injury to Gautam Gambhir which saw him leave the field in the last game. Reports are that Gambhir will be fit to play for India against Afghanistan in the first match.
