Indian cricket team coach Duncan Fletcher has a new problem to fix before the New Zealand Test series and that is the slip fielding. India’s regular slipfielders Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman have both retired and that exposes a gap in the field, says a report in the Hindustan Times.
Together the duo took 345 catches and most of the catches were taken in the slip cordon.
Fletcher tried a new combination during the practice session, with Sachin Tendulkar at first slip, Sehwah at second, Virat Kohli at third and Suresh Raina at fourth slip.
Meanwhile, gifts keeps coming for London Olympics bronze medallist as Sachin Tendulkar gifted her a brand new BMW car, says a report in The Times of India.
"I am sure that she (Saina) is happy but not satisfied. We are also not satisfied because we know that you can go to greater heights. You have that ability with Gopi's guidance. There are better days ahead and as a sportsperson, you always try to believe that your best is yet to come”, said Sachin.
