A report in The Indian Express says that Kevin Pietersen has been dropped from England's squad for the third Test against South Africa after he was caught up in a text message row.
England's selectors made their decision to axe Pietersen after reports suggesting that he sent text messages to several South Africa players during the second Test at Headingley that allegedly contained offensive comments about English captain Andrew Strauss and coach Andy Flower.
Jonny Bairstow has been selected in place of Pietersen.
Meanwhile The Times of India writes that Kevin Pietersen has insisted that England career is far from over after he was dropped for his country's crucial third Test against South Africa at Lord's.
Pietersen was axed on Sunday after a dramatic week that started with allegations he sent text messages to South African players containing derogatory comments about English captain Andrew Strauss and coach Andy Flower.
His international career seemingly over, Peitersen has released a statement that he would be available for selection in all formats of cricket. Peitersen few months earlier had retired from limited overs and now his statement means that he is ready to come out of the retirement.
