Andy Flower will talk to each player individually, every player needs to think what they did in this Test match: Strauss

Dale Steyn is the number one Test bowler in the world and he showed exactly why, his yet another five wicket haul gave South Africa a much deserved win over the number one Test side of the world, England, says a report in The Hindustan Times.

Steyn took three wickets for eight runs with the second new ball and ensured that there was no late order resilience from the Englishmen. England middle-order batsmen Ian Bell fought valiantly for his 55 runs before falling prey to the fiery Dale Steyn. England in the end lost by an innings and 12 runs.

Andrew Strauss has said that team director; Andy Flower will talk to each player after their loss against South Africa by an innings.

“Andy will chat to the players individually. Everyone needs to go away and think about what they did in this Test match and steel themselves as much as possible to come and play some good hard cricket next week because that is what it will take”, Strauss was quoted in The Telegraph.

Strauss added, “I think one of the advantages of having a bit of time before the next Test is to take stock and let things settle. That is always a wise thing to do anyway. We will be doing that over the coming days. I am sure there are lessons for us to learn coming out of this Test match. There have to be and it is increasingly important in a three Test series not to repeat those mistakes in the next game. I still think we will come back into the series. We have often played our best when we have come off a defeat and this is a good challenge for us.”
