PV Sindhu aiming to break into top 10 by this year

PV Sindhu who became the first Indian women to win the girl’s singles title in the Asian Youth Under- 19 Championships at Gimcheon, Korea who is ranked 25th in the World has targeted to break into the top 10 this year says a Mail Today report. Sindhu is highly motivated by her victory and says that she will do whatever it takes to be the number one player in the World.

“I will train harder because I want to be the world No. 1, I know this will not be easy, but I can achieve it. This year I would be aiming to be among the top 10 in the world,” the report quoted her as saying.

Meanwhile DNA writes that Sindhu exacted her revenge as last year in the same tournament in Lucknow Sindhu lost to Sun Yun in the semifinals in Lucknow. “I’m obviously very happy to have won the title. But it wasn’t all that easy for me,” Sindhu was quoted by DNA.
