Sourav Ganguly who lead Pune Warriors in the fifth edition of Indian Premier League who turned 40 feels there's enough cricket left in him and his failure as a leader in IPL-5 was just another bad phase, says a report in The Times of India.
Ganguly who is in two minds, whether to play or not said that he is also human and is prone to failures. He also said that age is only a number.
Sourav Ganguly who retired from international cricket in 2008 has said that he could have extended his career by another two years, says a report in ESPNcricinfo.
“I do regret my decision (to retire) sometimes, that I should not have acted in anger, But I did and... That bit is done and dusted... Yes, I could have played for another two years”, said Ganguly.
Ganguly added, "I didn't have one good series (in Sri Lanka) and, when the Irani Trophy squad was announced, my name was missing. I'd stopped enjoying my game because I was thinking about things not related to my game, to my cricket. I could have probably just said 'Let them do what they want' and wait for my time."
