Virender Sehwag who missed the Asia Cup in Bangladesh, was a bit reluctant to speak about the coming series in Sri Lanka, but said that fitness has been assessed by the physios at the National Cricket Academy, says a report in The Hindu.
“I have been to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) where I have gone through fitness test. The report of the physios will be submitted to the selection committee. Let’s wait and watch,” said Sehwag.
Sehwag when asked about the cricketers involvement in endorsement said, “Cricket career is a short one and I would like to do as many endorsements as possible in this span.”
Meanwhile, a report in The Hindustan Times says that Virender Sehwag’s name will be seriously considered by the selection committee for the upcoming Sri Lankan series. Sehwag who was suffering from shoulder problem earlier said that the injury didn’t bother him in IPL.
