A report in The Hindu says that star Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh who is desperate to wear the Indian jersey again after returning to the country from US where he was undergoing chemo therapy for a rare germ cell cancer said that he is set to start his training in a week or two. The report also mentions that Yuvraj would take a call on his comeback to serious cricket after seeing how his body responds to the training.
A Times of India report says that batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar is fit for the crucial match against the Kings XI Punjab at the Wankhede Stadium. TOI quoted Robin Singh, the coach of Mumbai Indians as saying that he is fit to play and would be playing tomorrow. The report also quotes Robin saying that their star bowler Mumbai Indians has gone back home with a sore back and will be back by next week.
