Jharkhand boys prove too good for Bangladeshi team

New Delhi: BSL IV E, Bokaro beat Bangladesh Air Force Shaheem School 5-0 in the Under-17 quarterfinal match of the 52nd edition of Subroto Cup at Dr Ambedkar Stadium here on Saturday.

The Jharkhand boys proved to be too good for the Bangladeshi youngsters as and kept the rival goalie Kamrul on his toes throughout the match. The Bangladeshi defence was tried several times before striker Moinuddin khan finally nestled the goal on the 27th minute of the game. The lone goal in the first half was followed by four more goals in the second.

Hasan was the most noteworthy from the Bangladeshi counterpart as he came close to a goal several times in the first half.
