Bengaluru FC boots attack by adding striker Cornell Glen in their line-up

Football icon isnBengaluru: Bengaluru FC has completed the acquisition of prolific striker Cornell Glen, boosting their attack with quality and experience.

The experienced striker had scored 11 goals in 16 matches for the 2016 Federation Cup champions Mohun Bagan last season and was the joint second highest scorer in I League 2015-2016. Cornell Glen has played 69 matches scoring 23 goals for the Trinidad and Tobago National Team. This includes appearances at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Cornell Glen has a stellar career having played in the MLS, Trinidad and Tobago, I – League and ISL. He was a member of the Trinidad and Tobago squad which qualified and played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. He has been one of the best foreigners playing on Indian soil with appearances for Shillong Lajong, North East United and Mohun Bagan.

After having signed on the dotted line, Cornell Glen was quoted as saying “I am happy and look forward to this new challenge. I will do my best to contribute in the team’s success in any way I can and repay the faith shown in me by the team management.”
