Pune: DSK Shivajians ‘A’ ran into rough weather after Chetak FC held them to a 1-1 draw in a PDFA Super Division League match at the DSK Dream City Football Field.

The result came as a surprise for Shivajians ‘A’, with the opponents virtually holding back the game with a defensive approach.

A goal in either half was the story of the match, with Shibu Sunny (31st) and Neil Sanghvi (84th) scoring for DSK Shivajians ‘A’ and the opponents respectively.

A minute after the half hour, the hosts drew first blood. Shibu finding space finished with a thumping volley from the edge of the box. The goal was a result of a well-taken corner kick from the right flag by Mohd Salah.

Changing sides, Chetak FC earned a penalty kick after Salah was adjudged to have fouled an opponent while trying to clear the ball. Neil Sanghvi stepped up to convert the effort and earn a point.
