New Delhi: Trinidad & Tobago International Cornell Glen has recently inked a deal with Shillong Lajong FC for the 2013-2014 I league season.

Cornell Glen has been a regular for Trinidad and Tobago since 2002, with 66 appearances and 23 goals. Glen was also in the squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, where he appeared in all three of Trinidad & Tobago's games at the event in Germany.

Glen’s impressive run with San Juan Jabloteh dominated the TT Pro League, leading the club to two consecutive league championships in 2002 and 2003, while registering 12 and 26 goals in the respective seasons paving him a way to MLS Metrostars and there upon to few other MLS clubs including LA Galaxy and FC Dallas. Before his signing with Shillong Lajong, he was with Trinidad and Tobago's top-level TT Pro League Club North East Stars FC.

Larsing Ming, General Secretary of Shillong Lajong Football Club said “We are extremely pleased with the signing of Cornell Glen and thank Libero Sports India who facilitated the transfer. I am confident Glen will gel well with the rest of the team and we look forward to him joining us”.

Arvind Narayan, Libero Sports Partner and Glen’s FIFA Licensed player agent said on his client’s appointment with the Reds, “Glen will be a great addition to Shillong Lajong. With his vast experiences internationally, he will help Shillong Lajong in their quest for winning titles on all fronts. We wish him all the best”.
