New Delhi: Moonlight Football Club will open their campaign against Garhwal Diamond FC in the inaugural match of the DLF -ONGC- SAIL - Delhi Soccer Association Annual Open Clubs Football League Championship beginning from tomorrow at CWG Village Sports Complex, Akshardham.

In second match of the day, Youngsters Club will take on COSMOS Club. 22 participating teams have been divided in three groups at preliminary stage.

Group - I teams:  Moonlight, Youngsters, Uttrakhand, Young Boys, Cosmos,  Garhwal  Diamond, Rohini

Group - II teams: Indian Nationals , Delhi Cantt, Ajmal  FC, Friends United, Banga Darshan, Collegians, Uttaranchal Heroes, Young Sports,

Group  -III teams: Shastri FC, Mughals, I A F Palam, Punjab  Heroes, Ashoka  FC,  Frontiers, Royal  FC.

Two top teams of each group will qualify for super-six round- robin league. The top two teams will qualify for the finals and also to be promoted to senior division from next season.

Two bottom teams of the preliminary league will be relegated to B division after play- off matches among three bottom teams.  Meanwhile the DSA has constituted a league sub-committee consisting of Sharafat-ul-ah as chairman, Bhola Nath Karmakar - Convenor, Hafiz Shahid, Ashok Ghosh, Ashok Kumar as members for smooth conduct of the league. Leading sports goods manufacturing company COSCO India is the co-sponsors and COSCO ball has been appointed as the official ball of the championship.
