New Delhi: After days of speculation, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) has decided to hold the camp for the upcoming Nehru Cup in New Delhi.

Last week it was learnt AIFF were contemplating to shift the camp to Bangalore after coach Wims Koevarman was not happy with the practice pitches in the capital. The camp is expected to start from July 27th as scheduled earlier.

AIFF technical team now feels that the weather in New Delhi was better so they decided to hold the camp here. clarified vice-president A.R. Khaleel.

“It was felt that the weather there is better; so the camp will be held in New Delhi and not Bangalore.”
The Nehru Cup will be held in the capital from Aug. 23 to Sept. 2.
