New Delhi: Moti Lal Nehru College defeated Zakir Hussain 1-0 in the final to win the inter-college football tournament for the Uttranchal Cup 2011–12. The match went down to the wire as both the teams were goalless till the end of the 1st session of extra time.

Amit Bhandari scored the decisive goal in the 2nd session of extra time to ensure that Moti Lal Nehru College takes the trophy home. Kulbhushan.Manderwal was adjudged the best player of the tournament.

Satpal, director (Sports), Govt. of NCT, Delhi along with DSA Secretary-Syed Shaheen and vice-president N. K. Bhatia distributed the prizes.
