Amit Chaudhary lead Haryana to a win

Chandigarh: Amit Chaudhary of Haryana performed well with both ball and bat to lead his team to victory against Rajasthan.

 

Amit took three wickets and scored an unbeaten 32 runs to ensure team’s third position in the 57th National School Games Cricket Championship tournament.

 

The winning team, batted first and scored 139 runs and in reply Rajasthan fell short by 28 runs with Rahul Chopra (47) and Anish (37) contributing a lion’s share. For Rajasthan, Ashol Chimma was the pick of the bowlers for his 3 for 25.

 

In reply, Ashok Chima put up a good fight as he scored a gritty half century but that was not enough to get past the target, and were bundled out for just 111 runs. Anish and Aman claimed two wickets each for Haryana.
