Gros Islet: After rain washed away the third day of third match between India and West Indies, West Indies come in to resume their batting on the fourth day of the third Test with their nine wickets intact in reply to India’s total of 353, here on Friday.

Day 4
India 157/3 after 39 overs: (Ajinkya Rahane 51, Rohit Sharma 41): India lead by 285 runs and 7 wickets remaining.
India 72/3 after 17 overs: This time it’s Chase doing the job for West Indies. Chase bowls a Yorker to Dhawan and he is hit on the pad in front of the stumps.
India 58/2 after 12 overs: Cummins takes his second wicket in the form of Virat Kohli. Cummins bowls a good length ball, which hits his pad in front of the wicket.
India 49/1 after 8 overs: KL Rahul is the first to depart. Cummins bowls to Rahul and he edges to the second slip. Brathwaite takes the catch.
West Indies 225/all out after 103.4overs: Bhuvneshwar Kumar completes his five-wicket haul. He bowls to Dowrich outside the off stump and he nicks it to first slip to Dhawan.
West Indies 221/9 after 103 overs: Ashwin takes the West Indies’ ninth wicket. Ashwin bowls to Cummins and he nicks it to Saha.
West Indies 212/8 after 96 overs: Kumar as he scalps his fourth. He bowls a good length delivery and that moves away and Joseph gets an outside edge to Rahul at third slip.
West Indies 212/4 after 94 overs: Kumar takes his third wicket, removes Holder. Bowls a good length that swings in and Holder is beaten in front of the wicket.Ball hits the pad and the umpire raises his finger.
West Indies 205/6 after 91 overs: It’s Jadeja now. He tosses the ball which turns away outside off. Chase it to Rahane at slips.
West Indies 203/5 after 90 overs: Kumar takes his second wicket of the day as he bowls out Samuels (played on). The ball seams in and takes the inside edge and hits the stumps.
West Indies 202/4 after 88 overs: Bhuveshwar Kumar strikes as he bowls to Blackwood and he edges it to Virat Kohli at second slip.
West Indies after 83 overs: 194/3 (Marlon Samuels 39, Jermaine Blackwood 20).
West Indies 136/3 after 59 overs: R Ashwin strikes on the first ball of 59th over. Ashwin bowls to Brathwaite, gets extra bounce and the ball touches the glove and Saha takes a good catch.
West Indies 129/2 after 56 overs: I Sharma gives India the much-needed breakthrough. He bowls a bouncer to Bravo and he top edges it to Ravindra Jadeja at fine leg.
Day 3 washed out because of rain.
Kraig Brathwaite, who is 53 not out, has posted his fourth fifty versuss India and his tenth in Tests.
Day 2
R Ashwin and Wridhiman Saha went on to score fantastic centuries and added 213 runs for the sixth wicket as Indian innings folded at 353 at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet on Wednesday. Later, in reply Kraigg Brathwaite led Windies' solid reply as his unbeaten 53-run knock guided the hosts to 107/1 at stumps.
Earlier, R Ashwin and Wriddhiman Saha were associated in a 213-run stand, which is an Indian record for the sixth wicket vs West Indies in Tests, outstripping the 170 between Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri at Chennai in 1983-84.

After West Indies had put India on the back-foot by ripping off its top order, including KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma for just 126 runs, R Ashwin forged a fantastic 108-run sixth wicket partnership with Wridhiman Saha to rescue India on the first day of the thirds Test at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet on Tuesday.
