India start their Day 3 on 358/5 with a lead of 162 runs. Ajinkya Rahane (42) and Wridhiman Saha (17) take on to the crease and would look to consolidate India’s chances by adding as many runs as possible.

KL Rahul grabbed the opportunity that came his way after Murali Vijay’s injury as he went to score a magnificent century (158), which put India in the driver’s seat on the day two of the second Test against the West Indies at Jamaica. The visitors ended the day two on 358/5, taking an 162-run lead over the West Indies.

After R Ashwin spun a web against West Indies batsmen, scalping for 52 in 16 overs that restricted the hosts to a paltry 196 in their first innings of second Test being played at Sabina Park, Kingston, KL Rahul, who came in as a replacement for injured Murali Vijay, showed his temperament with the bat and went to score an unbeaten 75 before the close of Day one as India scored 126 for one and is behind by 70 runs with nine wickets in hand.
