T-row forces CL matches out of Hyderabad

T-row forces CL matches out of HyderabadHyderabad: Champions League matches which were scheduled to be played in Hyderabad, have been shifted to Mohali, Ranchi and Ahmedabad due to the security reasons because of the on-going Telangana issue, coupled with the Ganesh immersion


 

The qualifiers of CLT20 have also been shifted to the PCA Stadium, Mohali. These qualifying matches will be played between the four teams off which two will go and join rest of the eight teams who have already qualified for the group stages. Teams which would be competing to get this ticket to main draw of the group phase include Sunrisers Hyderabad, Otago Volts (New Zealand), Kandurata Maroons (Sri Lanka) and Faisalabad Wolves (Pakistan). All these teams will go head to head against one another.
 

Apart from these qualifying matches, the group stages clashes have also been moved out from the Hyderabad. Mohali will be hosting couple of matches on September 24 whereas the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi will also be hosting the double-header on September 28.
 

The two games scheduled on September 30 will take place at the Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium in Motera.
