New Delhi: Australian team might be having a tough time to select the playing eleven for the Thrid Test of the series but Little Master Sunil Gavaskar has alarmed Indian captain MS Dhoni and his men. Legendary batsmen went on to say that Australia may be down and out but they can bounce back as they have some very good players in their squad.
Third Test starting in Mohali on Thursday will decide the winner of the series. Indian team is an obvious favorite because of their performances in last Two Tests but Sunny Gavaskar made it clear, "It would be a big mistake to take Australian Team lightly despite of the off-field contoversy. Indian captain should grab these opportunity from both the hands and try to clean sweep the series."
When Gavaskar was asked about his views on Shane Watson's suspension, Gavaskar told NDTV that that, "It is not a right thing to form an opinion of which we don't have a complete knowledge. But without Shane Watson Australia's middle order looks much more fragile than earlier and this is a sign of worry for them."
Gavaskar simply denied the fact that it's going to be a easy game for India and went on to say, "Cricket is a very funny game and one good knock or one good spell can change the fortunes of any team. Australia will surely be missing the services of their most succesful bowler James Pattinson but to fill his boots they have Mitchell Starc who has a lot to prove to his Captain Michael Clarke."
Former Indian captain is also looking forward to debutant,Shikhar Dhawan. "He can be more than handy because of his stroke playing ability and pitch will surely assist his technique. He has scored tonnes of runs in domestic cricket. If he hits the first ball of the middle of the bat, he will be off to a good start," he said to the news channel.
