Bhajji working hard to add more variety to his bowling

harbhajan 20Bangalore: A tough series is ready to start off in three days’ time for Indian cricket team and they are looking all set to battle it out against the Australians. Turbanator Harbhajan Singh, who has made a comeback to Indian squad for the first two Test matches, is working on his bowling by adding some variety in his armour.

Off-spinner got the chance against England but he didn’t perform as per the expectations and was dropped from the side but he continued his hard-work in Ranji for Punjab and for Rest of India in Irani trophy. To it, his reputation against the Kangaroos brought him this opportunity, which he wants to avail at any cost.

He has been criticized for his recent bowling performances, but he was not leaving any stone unturned to find his rhythm on Sunday he was seen slogging it out in the nets. Aussies are having four left-handers in the top order and Harbhajan would be excited to make the most of this opportunity and make sure that the Aussies taste defeat on Indian soil.

99 Test-matches old, Harbhajan Singh, spent a considerable time with bowling coach Joe Dawes on a bouncy NCA track. Harbhajan bowled around a single stump with Dawes hitting the ball from the striker's end, preparing the spinner to tackle the Aussie left-handers.  He also focused on adding variations to his deliveries. Guiding and motivating him was Dawes.

As Harbhajan worked hard with Dawes, fellow spinners Pragyan Ojha, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja went through an intense bowling drill on the adjacent KSCA practice wickets.

Earlier, the Indian players began proceedings with a fielding session before moving on to catching practice, which was held in three separate batches.
