New Delhi: India have a real good chance to end the year 2012 as the number one ranked T20 side if they manage to beat England and Pakistan in all the four matches that they are scheduled to play this month.
India will play two T20s against England starting tomorrow and then later against arch-rivals Pakistan that would commence from December 25th.
The result will come as a respite does India achieve the feat after the drubbing in the four match Test series which concluded recently.
The men in blue are currently ranked at the third spot with 120 points and if they win all the matches, they will gain as many 12 ratings points which will leap-frog them over Sri Lanka and West Indies currently ranked 1st and 3rd respectively.
If India manages to lose one of the matches, they would move up the ranking and dethrone Windies from the second spot but if they lose all the matches, they could slip further down the table and might find themselves at number seven position.
