Delhi: The Group B match between Delhi and Baroda ended in a draw as the two innings were not completed after the completion of the fourth day’s play at Feroz Shah Kotla today. Both teams earned a point each from the match.
Delhi were at 215-3 at stumps on day three with Manhas unbeaten on 41 and Rajat Bhatia on 10. Both Manhas and Bhatia took their time in the opening hours of the play.
Delhi needed to surpass Baroda’s total of 561 that the visiting team scored in their first innings, but the intent was missing from the two players.
Manhas completed his century and soon got out to Bhargav Bhatt. Bhatia continued at the other end, Delhi did lose the wickets of Puneet Bisht and Manan Sharma in quick successions but Sumit Narwal steadied the innings with Bhatia.
Bhatia completed his hundred and tried to up the run-rate after that, Narwal at the other end played a quick innings of 65 of just 76 balls but it couldn’t help Delhi go past the Baroda total.
