New Delhi: The Indian Amatuer Boxing Federation (IABF) has announced the dates for the 59th Senior Men’s National Boxing Championship from Oct 30 to Nov 4 to be held in Hyderabad.

The dates were confirmed by the new secretary general of IABF Rajesh Bhandari today through an official release.

The dates for the 13th Senior Women's National Boxing Championships were also announced and will be held in Guwahati Nov 25-29.

IABF joint secretary C.B. Raje was named as the technical delegate for the men's tournament while treasurer Khoibi Salam will be the technical delegate for the women's championship.

Meanwhile the federation will also be fielding teams for two foreign tours this month.

The Youth Indian men’s boxing team is slated to compete in the 33rd International Tammer Tournament in Tampere, Finland from 18th -21st October, while the Sub-Junior Men’s team will take part in a month long training-cum-competition program at Yangiabad, Uzbekistan from 7th October to 7th November.
