Vendôme, 18 September 2026: Paul Dachicourt can clinch the Clio Trophy France Asphalte title at Rallye Cœur de France, the penultimate round of the 2026 season. His rivals need a strong result to keep the championship alive.
The 29th Rallye Cœur de France Région Centre-Val de Loire is based in Vendôme and runs from 25 to 27 September. It comes less than three weeks after the Clio Trophy France Asphalte resumed at Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine. The season finale follows in the Cévennes.
Route and field
The rally has 13 special stages covering 182.33 km, on a total route of 510.35 km. On Saturday, crews run two identical loops of three stages and a super-special in the city centre. On Sunday, three stages are each run twice, including the 22.1 km Sargé-sur-Braye stage, the longest of the rally.
Dachicourt’s main challengers are Romain Fostier (David Auto Compétition), Maxence Potard (Gilbert Compétition) and Romain Brun (SKPB Compétition). Belgium’s Clémentine Benoit, who leads the women’s class, will make her debut in a four-wheel-drive Renault.
Twenty Trophy crews are entered. Another 35 Clio Rally cars are competing in the French Rally Championship at the event, which is a new addition to that calendar.
