New Delhi: Olympian Heena Sidhu shot 574 to qualify in the second position for the final of the 25m Sports Pistol event, at the ongoing 60th National Shooting Championship at Pune's Balewadi Sports Complex on Saturday.
Surabhi Pathak of Madhya Pradesh shot 579 to lead a group of eight women to Sunday's final.
Besides Surabhi and Heena, some of the big names in the final are Rahi Sarnobat and Annu Raj Singh, who have represented India at international competitions before.
The team gold in the event went to Haryana represented by Muskan (who also qualified for the individual final in fourth position shooting 573), Gauri Sheoran and Anita Devi, who combined for a score of 1691.
Rahi Sarnobat, Shreya Gawande and Saee Godbole helped Maharashtra secure silver with a combined effort of 1687.
The Border Security Force (BSF) team represented by Baljinder Kaur, Neeraj Kaur and Amarjeet kaur shot 1677 to secure the bronze medal.
