London: Star Indian mixed doubles pair of Jwala Gutta and V  Diju started off their London Olympics campaign on a disastrous note as  they went down in straight games to Indonesia’s Tontowi Ahmad and  Liliyana Natsir in their opening round match at the Wembley Arena here.
Jwala and Diju lost i lost 16-21 12-21 in a match that lasted just for 25 minutes.
In a one-sided contest, Jwala and Diju failed to get on top of their opponents even for once. 
The Indians will now face up against Thomas Laybourn and Kamilla Rytter Juhl in their next match on Sunday.
Jwala  will come back later tonight to team up with Ashwini Ponappa and take  on the Japanese duo of Reika Kakiiwa/ Mizuki Fujii in the doubles event.
