New Delhi: Allan Daniel Peoples of Army shot straight two rounds of 25 each, thus leading men’s section with a score of 50/50 at the skeet event at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges. Man Singh of Punjab, Mairaj Ahmad Khan of U P and Baba P. S. Bedi of Chhattisgarh were shared the second place with a score of 48/50.
In Women’s section, Rashmee Rathore from Andhra Pradesh was leading with a score of 44/50 followed by Saniya Sheikh and Arti Singh Rao with a score of 42 and 41 respectively.
Mohd. Hamza Sheikh of Chhattisgarh was leading in junior Skeet Men’s event with a score of 43/50. Karm Sukhbir Singh was at second place and Abas Ansari; both from Punjab were at second and third place. They shot 41 and 40 respectively.
The remaining 100 birds will be shot by men tomorrow and Finals will be conducted after the completion of Qualifying Round. Women will complete their 25 birds and no finals will be conducted in view of lesser entries.
