India’s Jitu Rai is Wolrd No. 1 air pistol shooter

New Delhi: Jitu Rai has been ranked number one shooter in air pistol event in the World Ranking. The ISSF released the World Ranking of shooters in various events on Monday.

He is the 7th Indian shooter who has achieved the honor of being number shooter in the World Ranking. Anjali Bhagwat, RVS Rathore, Gagan Narang, Manavjit Singh Sandhu, Ronjon Sodhi and Heena Sidhu were declared number one ranked shooter in their respective event earlier.

NRAI president has expressed his happiness on this achievement of Jitu Rai and hoped that more Indian shooters would achieve this honor in future.
