Lucknow: P Kashyap and PV Sindhu made it to the semifinals of the Syed Modi India Grand Prix Gold badminton tournament.
Kashyap defeated Goh Soon Huat of Malaysia 23-21, 8-21, 21-16 in a match that lasted for minutes.
Sindhu had a good match as she dominated Febby Angguni of Indonesia 21-13, 21-17 to enter the last four.
It was a mixed day for Indians as RMV Gurusaidutt, HS Pranoy and K Srikanth bowed out of the tournament.
