New Delhi: Hockey India has announced probables for the Lanco International and the Men’s FIH Champions Trophy in Australia and will start training at the SAI Centre at the Netaji Subash National Institute of Sports in Patiala from October 15.
Hockey India selectors Col. Balbir Singh, B.P Govinda and Syed Ali along with Government Observer Harbinder Singh selected the probables for the camp on the basis of their performance in the recently concluded 2nd Hockey India Senior Men National Chaionship in Bangalore.
The selectors also named nine reserves.
The Indian team will take part in Lanco International Series Series at Perth in Australia from November .The tournament will also feature England, Australia and Pakistan. This will be followed by Champions Trophy at the State Netball Hockey Centre in Melbourne from December. The tournament will feature host Australia, Belgium, England, India, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand and Pakistan.
