New Delhi: Yuvraj Singh who successfully fought rare germ cell cancer is itching to have a go against New Zealand in the two T20 match series. Yuvraj has been out of action since his heroics in the World Cup which saw him getting the man of the series award.
Yuvraj Singh said that he just can’t wait for the match to get started and get back on to the cricket field. He said that he is really excited to go back on the field and bat for his nation.
Yuvraj who is in the team for the ICC T20 World Cup as well said that he is aware of the environment and the expectations building around him. He however denied predicting his performance, Yuvraj said he does not know how he will play or how many runs he will score, but said that he has trained hard before the match.
Yuvraj also said that it is a big achievement for that he is back on the cricket field. He said that he is proud of his achievement and thanked his family and friends for there continous support.
