Olympics: Vikas Krishan loses in pre-quarterfinals

Vikas leads Indian challenge in Boxing Grand PrixLondon: Indian boxer Vikas Krishan has been knocked out after the AIBA overturned the decision in the favor of the American boxer Errol Spence in the pre-quarterfinals at the London Olympics.

Krishan was awarded the a 13-11 win in the 69 kg category, but AIBA changed the decision keeping in mind the number of fouls that the Indian boxer committed.

This was Krishan’s first real fight as he got a bye in the earlier round. Krishan was one of the medal contenders for India and his loss is a big setback for the Indian contingent.
