London Olympics: Swarn cruises into single sculls last eightLondon: India had a pretty ordinary day in rowing at London Olympics as Sawarn Singh and the pair of Manjeet Singh and Sandeep Kumar are out of medal contention and will now be hoping to finish at a respectable position.

Sawarn who qualified for the semifinal ‘C’ of the men’s single sculls, he finished fourth with the timing of 7:11.59 in the third quarterfinals.

The doubles team of Manjeet Singh and Sandeep Kumar qualified for semifinal D in lightweight double sculls.
