New Delhi: India’s Parupalli Kashyap made it to the pre-quarterfinals of the men’s single event of at the London Olympics after he picked up a comprehensive victory over Tien Minh of Vietnam at the Wembley Arena here today.
21st ranked Kashyap simply dominated his more fancied opponent and won the match 21-9 21-14 in the second and final Group D match. Kashyap would now take a lot of confidence with him in the last 16 as he topped his group after having two consecutive matches.
The Indian attacked right from the start and never allowed his rival ranked 10 in the world to set his feet. right from the word go and never let his rival settle.
Kashyap wrapped up the match is just 35 minutes.
