World snooker: Pankaj Advani loses twice  Bangkok: India's Pankaj Advani had a rough day at the SangSom Six Red World Snooker Championships as he lost both his league matches here Wednesday.

In his first match of the day, Advani lost to World No.7 Shaun Murphy 3-5 and then went down to veteran Steve Davis 4-5.

Against Davis, Advani was down 2-4 before he fought to take the next two frames to level at 4-4. However, the vastly experienced Davis managed to take the decider frame to wrap up the match.

With these losses, Advani would have to hope for Ben Nunam beating crowd favourite Andrew Higginsons to qualify for the knock out stage ofthe championship. (IANS)
