U-19 Asia Cup Final: India-Pakistan match tied Kuala Lumpur: It couldn’t have been better, the final between the India U-19 and the Pakistan U-19 ended in a tie and both the teams shared the Under-19 Asia Cup trophy. Indian colts needed to score one run of the last ball to win the match but they failed to do so. For India, it was Unmukt Chand once again was brilliant for India as his 121 runs innings kept India in the match.

Earlier in the day, India won the toss and decided to bowl first, Pakistani opener Sami Aslam ensured that India A never take the hold of the position as he kept one end busy and scored at a brisk pace, he got some support from Waheed (48) and together they had a partnership of 100. Asla was brilliant and scored 134 runs of just 124 balls with 13 fours and three sixes.

India chasing a stiff target of 282 runs lost Vohra early, but their captain Chand and Aparajith (92) took matters in their hand. They had a 175 runs partnership and it was looking as if India will run away with the match till the time they were on crease. But India lost quick wickets and it came up to India u-19 needing seven runs of the last ball. India managed six runs and it was a fitting end as both teams displayed some fabulous cricket throughout the series.
