Kolkata: Indian men's archery team defeated the Australian team in the qualifiers to qualify for the London Olympics. Tarundeep Rai, Jayanta Talukdar and Rahul Banerjee defeated their opponents comfortable and will now participate in the prestigious event.
Indian team earlier defeated the team from Norway to reach the quarterfinals, and then in the quarters defeated Canada to book their seat against the Australians in the semis.
India will now have a strong chance in Archery in the upcoming London Olympics as their women team comprising of Laishram Bombayla Devi, Deepika Kumari and Chekrovolu Swuro qualified earlier.
