Chennai: Top seed Vijayant Malik of India rallied past past Ronak Manuja 7-5, 6-3 to lead the field into the quarter-finals of the MCC-SR Subramaniam ITF Men's Futures Tennis Tournament here Wednesday.
Belgium's Mark Vervoort knocked out fourth seed Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan 7-5, 6-2 with the Indian suffering from a stomach ailment while Ashwin Vijayragavan served strongly to edge out seventh ranked Belgian Gaetan De Lovinfosse 6-4, 7-6 (3).
