Indian Wells, California: Sania Mirza of India and her Russian partner Elena Vesnina came from behind to cruise into the finals of the BNP Paribas Open as they defeated the Czech duo of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka played here.
The second seeded Indo-Russian defeated the third seeded pair 5-7, 7-5, 10-3 in a match that lasted for an hour and 45 minutes.
They won 25 out of 42 points as compared to their Czech opponents managed to win only 32 out 56 points.
Sania and Vesnina will now face off against the winner of the other semifinal between number one seeded USA combo of Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond and Czech pair of Iveta Benesova and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.
