New Delhi: Narian Karthikeyan has tough time ahead of himself; he missed on the testing sessions in Jerez and Barcelona. Amidst all this, the Indian driver is confident of finishing the Australian Grand Prix with his untested car - F112. The Australian Grand Prix is the season’s first grand prix and will test Narain and his Hispania Racing team.
Hispania was not able to get their car ready for the two pre-season testing programmes in Jerez and in Barcelona. It is a rule that an F1 car should pass all the tests before the race or else it won’t be allowed to race.
Karthikeyan believes that the real test of him and his team will be in Australia. There are free practice sessions ahead of the race and that could provide the team to test their car. He also said that the team management did brilliantly to get the car ready.
The ace Indian driver said that in the practice sessions his main aim will be to test the car. He would try to find out the speed and the reliability of the car to know whether it is reliable enough to complete the race.
