New Delhi: Yuvraj Singh was surprised to see some local students and fans outside his apartment. Singh is undergoing cancer treatment in Boston and recently underwent second round of chemotherapy.
Yuvraj Singh tweeted that after seeing the fan he felt as if he was in India. The fans came with Indian flags and poster of their favorite batsman
"Some came with flowers some came with cards some with homemade food! Touched!” the left-hander tweeted.
Yuvraj also replied to Shane Warne’s message in which he wished Yuvraj good health and encouraged him to fight against his ill-health. Yuvraj tweeted, “@warne888 hey you legend! Thanks mate I'm doing good staying positive! Hope you and family are well cheers!"
Yuvraj has been getting messages from all the corners of the cricketing fraternity. His old nemesis Kevin Pietersen tweeted, "It's tragic what's happened to Yuvi. He's going through a tough time and it's not fair to talk about him in terms of cricket at the moment. Right now the only important thing is for him to get back to full fitness as soon as possible."
Pietersen said that he is eagerly waiting to revive the on-field friendship that they shared.
The middle-order batsman earlier tweeted that the tumour was almost out; he is being treated by Dr. Lawrence Einhorn who also treated Lance Armstrong.
Yuvraj has been constantly updating about his health and is expected to take the cricket field from May.
Indian team at the current time needs the flamboyance of the elegant left-hander who was the player of the tournament in the World Cup.
