Bangalore: Hyderabad stunned Tamil Nadu with a 36 runs win in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Hyderabad batted first and posted a total of 333. T Suman scored a magnificent century and was ably supported by Ravi Teja who finished on 69 runs. In reply, Tamil Nadu could only manage 297 before they were bowled out in the 48th over. For TN, S Anirudha scored 77 runs.
In another South Zone clash, Karnataka defeated Andhra Pradesh by 56 runs at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Robin Uthappa scored a quick-fire 104 to help his team post a total of 275 runs. Andhra Pradesh was bowled out for 219 runs, with Abrar Kazi bowling a fine spell and taking four wickets for the victorious side.
