Paris: Nine-time winners France will host 10-time titleholders Britain in the quarter-final of the Davis Cup tennis tournament at the north-western city of Rouen.
The match will be held at the 5,000-plus-capacity Palais des Sports in Rouen here from April 7 to 9, the French Tennis Federation announced here on Monday, reports Xinhua news agency.
It will also be the first time that the two sides have played on clay since 1978, when Britain edged past France at Roland Garros.
Overwhelming Japan 4-1 in Tokyo for a last eight berth, France has clearly set its target at denying Britain, who won 3-2 against Canada in Ottawa in previous round.
