Miami: Andy Murray of Britain sealed his semis spot after he defeated Janko Tipsarevic 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 at the Sony Ericsson Open played here on Wednesday.
The match which lasted for more two and half hours saw Murray is an uncomfortable stage as he had to call out his trainer for an ailing stomach. But he still prevailed and progressed into the last four committing 38 unforced errors and delivering 25 winners.
Meanwhile World number Rafael Nadal went past Jo Wilfred Tsonga to make it to the last four of the tournament. Nadal had to fight hard for his victory and could finally wrap up the match in two hours and 49 minutes. He won 6-2 5-7 6-4
