Miami: World number two Rafael Nadal cruised into the third round of the Sony Ericsson Open after he beat Columbia’s Santiago Giraldo 6-2, 6-0 played here on Friday.
World number two Spaniard took only 69 minutes to go past Giraldo and now would face Radek Stepanek of Czechoslovakia who defeated Germany’s Tommy Haas 7-6 (7/4), 6-1.
In other matches, World number four Andy Murray made into the third round by defeating Colombia's Alejandro Falla 6-2, 6-3.
Murray from Britain would now face Milos Raonic, who defeated France's Arnaud Clement 7-6 (9/7), 6-2.
