Acapulco( México) - Sara Errani of Italy won both the singles and double titles at the Abierto Mexicano TELCEL played here to become the first tennis player to achieve this feat in WTA in almost two years. She defeated her compatriot Flavia Pennetta  5-7 7-6(2) 6-0 to win her third WTA title of her career.

The first two sets of the final were close and they showcased the Italian pair's speed and skills. Errani rolled off the first five points and her she grew in confidence to win the third set in 32 minutes with losing only three points in her three service games to win the match 5-7 7-6(2) 6-0.

Errani delighted with her win said "It was tough to play against Favia.I had to run a lot and try to play my game and be aggressive in the important moments. It's never easy playing an Italian but I played really well, especially in the third set. I can take a lot of confidence from this going into Indian Wells, but I always want more."
