Qatar: World No 1 pair of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis managed to pull off a three-set win (6-4, 4-6, 10-4) over the Chinese pair of Yi-Fan Xu and Saisai Zheng in the WTA Qatar Open, here on Wednesday.

With this win, the Indo-Swiss pair extended their winning streak to 41 matches. The top seeded took one hour and 24 minutes to beat the unseeded Chinese duo to enter the quarterfinals of the tournament after getting a bye in the first round.

Martina and Sania have already won four titles, including Brisbane Open, Sydney Open, Australian Open and St Petersburg Ladies Trophy, this year to take their overall trophy count to 13.
