Guangzhou: Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza won their second straight WTA doubles title together - and their sixth of the year – as they defeated Xu Shilin and You Xiaodi in the final to win the Guangzhou International Women's Open.
After a first round bye, the No.1-seeded Hingis and Mirza beat Anna-Lena Friedsam and Monica Niculescu in the quarters, 6-2, 6-3, and then Julia Glushko and Rebecca Peterson in the semis, 6-3, 6-4, before their most dominant performance against Xu Shilin and You Xiaodi in the final, 6-3, 6-1.
They've now won six of 13 events, including Indian Wells, Miami, Charleston, Wimbledon, the US Open and now Guangzhou, that they've played together since March.
